Thomas Fieldhouse

Previous to that he worked for University College London in their Constitution Unit as a Research Fellow & Network Coordinator.

He has a professional background in Westminster politics, where he worked closely with a wide range of MPs and peers – most notably serving for five years as a senior aide and political adviser.

Thomas also spent two years as Deputy Director of the ‘Red Tape Initiative’, a government-backed project to identify EU-derived regulation that could be improved upon following Brexit, via cross-party consensus. 

Outside of his professional work, Thomas was also the Advocacy and Engagement Director of the ‘Project for Peaceful Competition’ – an international academic network working to foster a constructive global dialogue on great power relationships in an increasingly multipolar world.

Thomas holds an MA in International Relations and an MLitt in International Security Studies, both from the University of St Andrews.
